Copa Airlines continues to grow, and as part of this growth, we were chosen for the expansion of the cafeteria and locker services in the Copa Airlines Maintenance Center area. The new building draws inspiration from technical and industrial work, evident in details such as facade selection, furniture, and decoration.

To create a cozy and contemporary environment, we included polished concrete flooring, enhanced with vibrant colors, and wood finishes on the walls. Additionally, we celebrate the technical aspect by exposing all systems visibly.

In the cafeteria, in addition to the dining area, a kitchen and a mezzanine with a recreation area were included. The external industrial design adapts to existing conditions, maintaining low maintenance, and contrasts with the cozy internal design.

Aviation elements were integrated into the design, with the metal structure in view. Thin, specific, and intentional windows were used in critical points.

We highlight the achievement of improving the well-being of Copa Airlines employees.

Our office in Costa del Este was developed with a design focused on collaboration and efficiency. Unlike a typical office, this redesign adapts to our collaborative dynamic, encouraging more efficient operations through the use of technology. In many businesses, like ours, clients don't visit the office; instead, they're visited. Our office is more of a "workshop." This allows us to replace standard meeting rooms with 1 to 3-person "phonebooths" for quiet digital meetings.

Our workspaces have been carefully designed to merge openness and security. Designed as open spaces, each collaborator has their workspace without feeling isolated. The desk structure not only provides spaciousness but also becomes a tangible reminder of our collective responsibility.

Rather than placing the kitchenette, printing area, and meeting room on the office perimeter, we positioned them in the center, acting as a dividing core among workstations, providing a natural distancing. This approach not only maximizes space but also encourages proximity and collaboration. At DIAZ DIAZ, our environment reflects our focus on innovation and adaptability, creating a workspace that inspires and fosters collaboration.
