Through a carefully planned architectural concept, the showroom enables visitors to interact seamlessly with Huawei’s products, integrating state-of-the-art technology with a structured pathway that transforms the shopping experience into an immersive journey.
Huawei’s showroom was conceived as an architectural promenade, a continuous exhibition path where visitors can discover various technological solutions through museum-style displays. Instead of standalone screens or isolated display cases, the design invites users to navigate the space fluidly, stopping at strategic points to engage with Huawei’s latest innovations.
The design is based on the idea of spatial continuity, ensuring that each area of the showroom is visually connected to the next, avoiding fragmentation in the journey and keeping visitors fully immersed in the brand experience.
One of the key challenges in this project was optimizing the available space to ensure an efficient display layout without compromising visitor mobility. To achieve this, DIAZ DIAZ designed a system where displays are integrated directly into the architectural path, eliminating the need for bulky structures or elements that obstruct visibility.
The showroom includes interactive technology checkpoints, where visitors can stop and experience firsthand Huawei’s latest devices, interfaces, and digital solutions. These stations have been strategically placed to naturally attract user attention, guiding them through a journey that reinforces the brand’s identity.
One of the most significant challenges in conceptualizing this showroom was dealing with an existing curtain wall system. While this feature allows for excellent natural lighting, it also posed a challenge in terms of potential glare and excessive light exposure on digital displays.
To address this, the showroom design included a peripheral circulation system, which acts as a buffer between the display areas and sources of intense light. This solution ensures an optimal level of natural illumination without affecting product visibility, while also maintaining a pleasant and visually balanced environment.
More than just a retail space, Huawei’s showroom was designed with a museum-like approach, where each display is presented as an educational and immersive experience. Instead of arranging products on conventional shelves, interactive stations have been positioned along the exhibition path, allowing visitors not only to see the devices but also to engage with them fully.
